VLSI Technology and VLSI Analog Circuits
VLSI Technology and VLSI Analog Circuits
Analog signal processing circuits
have been widely used in many VLSI circuit applications such as high speed I/O
circuits, communication circuits and instrumentation circuits.
The increasing
demands for system mobility with higher packing density, smaller form factors,
lower power dissipation, and the trend of system-on-a-chip (SOC) integrations
in recent years are the main driving forces for VLSI- integrated analog signal
processing circuits implemented in the standard CMOS process technologies. Such
implementation trends are featured by the recent developments of various
CMOS-specific analog processing circuit techniques.
In VLSI study focus on
algorithms, modeling and architecture and VLSI circuit-circuit implementation
techniques of various CMOS analog signal processing circuits.
The material is organized with two
things:
- To bridge the existing gaps between the existing theoretical work and the implementation of VLSI analog signal processing circuits
- To present the systematic design implementations and analysis methodologies for these VLSI signal processing circuits based on the how we design CMOS process technologies.
